Coast2coast announces talks with USA Clinics and www.iamahockeyplayer.com
Coast2coast are currently in talks with Peter Dale of www.iamahockeyplayer.com to provide players in Britain with the opportunity of participating in a hockey camp exchange programme.
Peter has been in dialogue with coast2coast and has also offered us a fantastic chance to work together in making hockey in Britain bigger and better than ever!
Coast2coast plays Welsh superleague in friendly and in a closely fought battle win 8-7.
The game was played in very good nature and was a very good advert for hockey in South Wales. There were a lot of great goals in a fast and furious game of 3 on 3, with the slightly younger superleague team showing off some of the skills that have helped them do so well this season. In the end, the experience of the coast2coast team paid off as they held on to the puck for the final few minutes and passed the puck around, keeping possession as the superleague team tried frantically to push for the equaliser.

Coast2Coast Inline Hockey camps cover a broad range of inline hockey skills essential to your game, whether you play at local team level or in the FIRS World Championships!
- Skating techniques
- Power Skating
- Stick handling
- Passing
- Shooting
- Breakout
- Drills
- Offensive Play
- Defensive Play
- Goal Tending / Net Minding
We will also have the best goalie coach available to deliver unequalled net minder coaching to all the goalies attending the Camp.
As with all good coaching from NHL down, we go 'back to basics' at the beginning of the Camp. Basics are everything in any sport, whether shooting a puck in hockey, practicing ball control in football or working on shooting skills in basketball. From 'back to basics' we will build towards game play, helping you perfect your techniques and skills and then putting them in context of a game situation, playing with your team.
You will need to be reasonably fit for the Camp as you will be spending a lot of time in your skates, but don't worry, we won't be concentrating on stamina or fitness at all directly, those are things you can work on yourself. Coast2Coast is not a boot camp! Coming on a Coast2Coast Camp is all about you becoming better at the game, more skillful, more accurate, more tactical, more consistent, better able to read the play and to position yourself in offence and defence so you are a more effective member of your team.
